Ranging from an egg shell white to a pale yellow. Crystal rings range from a golden yellow to a white. This color is primarily the result of Holmium.

While giving a lecture at NCECA in 2023, Andy was browsing the show floor and found a vendor selling Rare Earths and other uncommon glaze ingredients. Unable to find any documentation of anyone using these elements in crystalline glazes, Andy decided it would be a good place to explore. With a subtle color that seems quiet, this glaze will actually be an unearthly pink color when under a fluorescent light. You can see the color change on Andy’s Instagram and the color change seems greatest in the crystals.
