Nickel Sorbet
Ranging from a burnt orange to a hazy lavendar and sandy yellow. Crystal rings range from a silvery blue to a chocolate brown. This color is primarily the result of Nickel and Titanium.
After developing the Dark Agate for himself, Andy set his sights on a glaze that had “all the colors.” From his research, he knew that Nickel could cause a colorful burnt orange background with blue crystals. After creating a large assortment of glaze tests that were all good but not great, Andy had the idea to combine them all into one. Serendipity smiled down on the work and the combination was exceptional. With proper note taking a spread sheets, reversing engineering the recipe was no problem and this glaze became a permanent fixture in the repertoire.
