The Vasa Dei Collection

Vasa Dei is Latin for “Vessels of God.” This collection is a collaboration with Andy’s father, Ray Boswell. Ray has been a potter for 40 years, primarily working with churches and religious education programs. He uses metaphors such as “God is the Potter and we are the Clay” to blend spiritual themes with the life of a potter. The Vasa Dei Collection is a collaboration of generations and styles. Ray threw the forms in stoneware, giving them movement and life. Andy brought his expertise in crystalline glazes to make the surface as lively as the forms.
