1 Day Workshops

Join Andy in his studio for a crystalline glaze crash course. Go from beginner to expert while glazing some of your own beautiful pots!

Workshop Overview.

This workshop will allow participants to get hands-on experience with crystalline glazes. There will be instruction on standard application techniques as well as advanced details. Great for potters looking to build their technical understanding of these unique glazes.

Topics will include bruhing, dipping, surface area calculations, mixing recipes, insights on individual materials, food safety, acid etching, reduction and how to fire without glaze catchers. This is the same material Andy has presented at Art Centers, Colleges and large stages like ClayShare and the NCECA Conference.
